Toronto 360 wayfinding implementation

The City of Toronto has commenced the roll-out of its successful Toronto 360 (TO360) pedestrian wayfinding system, which is a central component of the City’s goal to make Toronto a more walkable, welcoming and understandable place for visitors and residents alike.

Steer Davies Gleave has been involved in this project since its outset in 2011. Initially to develop a wayfinding strategy and outline business case, and subsequently, for the detailed design and implementation of a pilot scheme centred on the Financial District in the city’s downtown core.

Parks and Trails Wayfinding pilot launched in Toronto's Lower Don Trail

The Mayor of Toronto, John Tory, was joined by City Councillors and representatives from partners including Evergreen and the Trans Canada Trail, when he launched the Toronto Parks & Trails Wayfinding Strategy and Lower Don Trail on Saturday 23rd September, as part of a weekend-long celebration of Toronto's unique ravine network.

Urbanist Riccardo Bobisse joins Steer Davies Gleave as an Associate

Steer Davies Gleave is delighted to announce the appointment of Riccardo Bobisse who joins the firm to further develop their Urban Design offer. He joins as an Associate based in their UK Planning team.

A recognised Practitioner in Urban Design (UDG) and Design Council/CABE Built Environment Expert (BEE), Riccardo is an urbanist with a multidisciplinary background and over 12 years’ of experience in urban design in both the public and private sectors.
