The Pennsylvania Turnpike is the main road throughout the state of Pennsylvania. At over 532 miles in total, the highway provides an essential link between Pennsylvania’s urban areas.
Our client was the successful bidder in winning the US$14.5 billion Pennsylvania Turnpike lease, which is proposed to generate US$965 million a year in tolls in return for repairing the road’s bridges and highways.
Our role
Steer Davies Gleave undertook a traffic and revenue audit for the successful bidders - the lenders to the Abertis-led bidding consortium. We provided robust figures that our client used to drive investment for their bid.
